EstateCanaria is an established and expanding company which has built its reputation
by providing professional and honest advice with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the residential market.
Being a multi disciplined company there are opportunities in various disciplines for selected individuals to help develop and grow our business.
Our main business historically has been to the southwest of Gran Canaria,
but as we want expand to the rest of the Island can we now use some

What is EstateCanaria’s philosophy with regards to collaborations?
In the normal economic climates it is hard enough for individuals to start
up their own business, inject enough capital to make it work, rent of
locals, electricity, employers and overcome challenges such as cash-flow
problems and then survive the competition and general trading, but in the
current crisis it is even more difficult. This is why it makes sense for
businesses and individuals to work together with a common goal of making
money. We have the established successful business model so if you have the
time and professionalism we can work together, we can be flexible and you
can work the hours that suit you and when it suit you.
If I live in Gran Canaria,
how does this work?
We are situated in Arguineguín on the southwest of Gran Canaria.
The staff who are based there cannot be everywhere, so if a someone
asked us to list
property that was a long way for us to travel we could utilize the
services of a ‘freelance’ agent to do this on our behalf.
Similarly, if someone else wanted to view such a property with a
view to buying it, we could again utilize
the services of a ‘freelance’ agent.
In either case we would pay the agent a share of our commissions.
We would, of course, give any necessary training, so although
experience is always useful it is not
If I live in a different
country, how does that work?
Many of the clients who buy from us either live in, or originate from,
another country than Gran Canaria/Spain.
Either by using personal contacts, advertising (local, regional or national)
or linking in with Real Estate companies outside of Spain, you could provide
clients for us and again we will pay you a share of our commissions.
If you are ambitious, driven and hard-working, this might be the role for you. People with the following skills and/or experiences are particularly encouraged to apply:
- Experience in selling overseas property
- Language skills (English, Spanish and
minimum one more speaking and writing fluent language) This would be to support inspection trips and provide local knowledge / expertise.
- Estate agency experience
- General sales or customer service experience
- A private interest in property investing or developing
Real Estate is one of the few careers which allow you to "earn while
you learn". Having said that, Real Estate agents are remunerated
purely on a commission only basis. Commissions are only paid on
registration of transfer of the sale of the property sold. It takes
an average of 4 - 6 months to start to earn an income.

Reliable motor vehicle; Valid driving license; Own laptop computer
