Veneguera is a small village, belonging to the municipality of Mogán and located in the middle of an arid valley, which during the winter months changes color and covers its slopes with a green mantle.
In 2003 it became part of the Canarian Network of Protected Natural Areas. Currently, its beach and ravine belong to the Nublo Rural Park.
Nearby is the Pinar de Inagua, one of the best preserved open forest specimens in Gran Canaria and La Fuente de Los Azulejos, where several hiking trails are born that invite you to get to know the surroundings of Veneguera.
Its square and its hermitage are the letter of introduction and the nerve center of the town where neighbors and friends meet and where every December 25 the living Bethlehem is celebrated.
8 kilometers from the village is the beach of Veneguera, a beach of pebbles and black sand. To get there you have to drive through a ravine of land dotted with farms of fruit trees, orange trees, lemon or avocado trees, fruits all of them very appreciated on the island.
